1st Project DVD

Last night I directed the visuals for the live recording of 1st Project‘s soon-to-be-released DVD.
Animations and live feed from various camera’s displayed on 11 screens all over the stage. It was a kickass affair at the Theatre on the Square in Sandton. Over 200 punters glued to their seats (well, sort of, they weren’t allowed to stand ‘cos they’d block the camera’s and lights) and the guys performed superbly! I’m not gonna give away too much, you’ll just have to buy the DVD to check it all out!
Well done to Shannon, Kevin, Zack, Travis and guests artists Paul and Basadi for putting on an awesome show.
All the companies involved to make this dream of theirs a reality did so for free, gratis and for niks, including myself. Companies that were involved (that I can remember) were MGG, 9MM Films, New Vision Designs and a bunch more. If I forgot to mention you, please add your name and link in the comments! Ta!
We’ll let you know when the DVD is available, should be some time in September.

1st Project are an awesome “band”. Staying in durbz, you don’t get to see much of these guys, so I will be first in line for the DVD

Man these guys are awesome! Like Stomp but phatter cos local is lekker! Great to see the guys taking it that one step further, I’m sure this DVD will make its way into my collection

Hey Guys, Pete here, I directed the 1st Project DVD. Just to let you all know that the dvd is now available at Look and Listen stores nationwide (as of 1 November 06) the guys will be doing more extensive launches, and it will be on sale on their site in a week or so, but go grab yourself a copy… it is just too wicked! Raspect.

1st Project are excellent I saw the dvd through a friend of ours who is friends with Kevin and he was in school with Shannon. They are great I would love for them to teach me how to play like that.

Was blown away by the Mnet show last night, but also had intermittent transmission breaks grrrrr!!! Does 1st Project have their own website, as I can’t find anything on Google search… Well done, guys – will be buying the dvd to watch while on leave this Christmas!

We had the pleasure of seeing these artists about 5 years ago in jhb and are completely impressed again. We would love to see 1st project live again. Are they going to tour the country? eg Cape Town Can we get a guide as this is one not to be missed live…

Saw 1st Project for the first time on m-net 18th December and I was blown away!
1st Project ROCKS and I am so proud they are local – our boyz r the best. Would LOVE to see them live pleeeze somebody tell me where where where?

I have seen these guys on mnet a few times now, and every time,I have to seriously contain myself from losing it completely(and also to not blow the speakers!!!) They are absolutely awesome !! I was telling a friend how terribly disappointed I was that we don’t have entertainment like that in SA, when I got the FANTASTIC news that they are local boys !!! You can imagine how thrilled I was !! I HAVE TO SEE THEM LIVE !! When are they in Durbs? Please tell ! I’ll bring everyone I know !

Hi there!
Saw 1st Project some years back at a festival – brilliant! But I can’t get hold of a cd. PLEASE HELP! Been on the net, mainstream and bizarre music stores, nothing.
Everyone knows about it, and apparently they get lots of requests for it, but can’t advise me on where to find it.

I have luckily caught the show on tv a couple of times and was absolutely blown away! To see talent like this in our country is so exciting – I would love to know where to get the DVD – tired of phoning Multichoice to ask them when they are showing the 10 lessons show again!!!!
