It blows my mind that over 5 years later (original blog posted on 19 Sept 2006) all the complaints about Ster Kinekor are still applicable. Nothing has changed. If anything it has gotten worse. Ster Kinekor outdid themselves on 27 September last year when a poor movie goer was the unfortunate recipient of a dead mouse at the bottom of her popcorn. I kid you not: http://tiny.cc/6l0jz The poor lady even took photos which quickly circulated on twitter and facebook. My skin crawls just thinking about it. Sterkinekor PR made a lot of noise about taking the incident seriously and sending the dead rodent to a lab for testing. Promises were made to release the findings when they had more information. Unsurprisingly nothing more was ever said. Needless to say I will never eat or drink anything from them again!

There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them heart to heart. There is some validity but I will take maintain opinion till I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we would like more! Added to FeedBurner as nicely

This is about something else but same attitude. Here in Port Elizabeth we were told that all seats had to be designated as it was now the “rules” As a result of this even in the early morning shows when there may be only 4 or 5 patrons!!! Oh I nearly forgot because we now had to book seats the prices were increased. Surely there must be some organisation that should examine the duopoly of the movie business in this country. They are unsympathetic and do not care a damn about their patrons – why should they – we can also go elsewhere – perhaps China>
