Other schools didn’t do too well either.
So who’s to blame? The fact is, it doesn’t really matter, ‘cos all these kids are still gonna waste another year of their lives anyway. Ah, SA’s youth, gotta love them.

This breaks my heart! I’m a bleeding heart liberal and completely soppy person at the best of times (ie disney musicals make me cry), but this kills me. We are consistently setting our youth up to fail. Having said that, the worst thing we could do for them would be to follow the british example of simply lowering the standard so that you cannot fail – literally!

I agree with Katie, the only bright side is that they didn’t all just pass indiscriminantly…
Knowledge is just as important as food, the powers that be need to start realising this!
