Yesterday I was driving, and my trusty iPod just stopped... When I looked at it, it had an unhappy face on the screen, and a url...

Turns out that my iPod has finally died. RIP little iPod. Hello shiny new black video iPod!

I have a RoadTrip and find that 91.9 is a decent frequency. There is still some background hiss when the volume is turned up louder than usual (by the time I get home my wife can hear the podcast inside the house - must be going a bit deaf). Without a doubt you get better sound quality if you can connect directly to your car radio using a cable. A couple car radio manufacturers either include the connection or you can buy a connector and have it fitted.

The problem with all these Trip style devices is that they have to comply with FCC (American Broadcasting) regulations.

What you really want is a fuck-off big FM signal booster, and then you can be the broadcaster!

I was also on the 106 kick until 702 booted us off the air. Have found 93.7 quite good, except over weekends when all the community stations switch on...

and in the South Coast I found 106.1 to be ok, but switched to 106.9. But I don't like change, so I'm rather uncomfortable with the whole thing. :)
