The actual game was great – My English neighbour arrived on my doorstep 5 minutes before the game started (uninvited) – with his 2 kids, all dressed up in English rugby jerseys.
They sang their national anthem with full gusto, and then laughed that I didn’t even know the words to mine (like anybody knows that).
After the game, though, they snuck off home, and haven’t shown their faces since!
