(posted now ‘cos Jo’blog was broken for ages)
A few weeks back Clive pointed Mike and I to a post he wrote on a guy called Richard Mulvey who’s climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for the kids at Reach for a Dream.
He asked us if we could do anything to help, so we donated R5k and some of the Linkers put together this short vid:
Dig deep kids, or at the very least, spread the word for him, it’s a good cause…!

Rich Mulholland and Team, you guys were totally unbelievable with your support – as in humongously naaaice! Go visit Richard Mulvey’s Blog of the climb – which they’ve just completed, at http://www.the-kili-climb.blogspot.com
The altitude sickness is evidently something beyond adequate description. I joked with Richard Mulvey in an early posting that he’d be taken down the mountain on a gurney. In fact, it was his wife, Sheila, who took the downward trip on one, having reached the summit. Should I get myself a bandanna and nose ring, d’ya think?
Great effort by all and yes, please help them crack the R 100 000 for the Reach for a Dream foundation. I’ve found it impossible to post on the Kili climb Blog for some reason….just won’t let me in. Maybe senior citizens aren’t allowed?
But I’ve been following them assiduously.
To the Linkies, again, prostrations!
