For those of you who missed out, My Coke Fest was insane this year. Partly because yours truly got to MC throughout the day for both Jo’burg and Cape Town.
Coke also gave Marc Kobrin the opportunity to have the best of the fest. He was invited to the Press Con and was treated like a star so he could enjoy every aspect of the day. We had Carlos follow him throughout the day, he and his girlfriend Roxy had an amazing time. Check out his experience here.
We also filmed the My Coke Fest Superfans again this year, watch their day-by-day video diaries here, as well as see all the live edits that were put up on screen.
What a killer day. If you were there and you didn’t hear me announce it, join the Facebook group and add all your awesome photos.

Cast your mind back a few years ago. Okay a few more. Remember when you were thirsty and you walked to the tap, cupped your hand, and slowly suctioned the water from your skin chalice.
Today, we walk to the fridge and grab a chilled bottled water that we paid way more than the amount it costs to get it from your household tap, then throw the plastic bottle away, which isn’t good for the environment.
I’m no saint, I do this kind of thing all the time, but seeing this truck, one of plenty I imagine, makes me think I need to try get back to my roots and cup some water from my palm whenever I can. Or a glass, that’ll do too.

Well, I don’t really know for sure, but looking at this bin full of R2,99 starter packs, it sure looks like they’re trying to totally dominate the amount of active numbers in the cell market.

SA has a lot of competition as far as low-cost air travel goes. I spent 2 hours watching Extreme Home Makeover and Ellen on the Series channel before this 1time ad came on again so I could tape it.
They take a big dig at, not only the airlines who add airport tax and the rest of it afterward, but specifically at Kulula.com, by the uniform of the check-in lady.
