Advertising at its best
Posted by Don Packett under Marketing , Television on March 3 2008 at 11:47 AMSA has a lot of competition as far as low-cost air travel goes. I spent 2 hours watching Extreme Home Makeover and Ellen on the Series channel before this 1time ad came on again so I could tape it.
They take a big dig at, not only the airlines who add airport tax and the rest of it afterward, but specifically at Kulula.com, by the uniform of the check-in lady.
Awesome.

That’s a pathetic excuse to watch your two favourite shows. Come on. Nice ad though.

Funny thing is, that just last week, Kulula started including airport taxes in their flight prices again. Wonder how long the ad is going to run.

Aaarghhh. Sorry to be a grammar Nazi, but please fix the misplaced apostrophe in your headline. It hurts my eyes.

Yeah always seem to fuck that one up. Fixed. Thanks.

Thank you Sir! I blame the teachers who drummed that strange little rule into me in school…

Smart move in the commercial is the use of the Kulula green. The damage is done by inference. Disappointing the kid is the real killer application. The art director or copy writer is clearly an unrehabilitated sadist.;-)
