So every time you go instead, to your 5-litre, door-fitting fridge container of chilled water, you're doing a good deed for the environment. We've just ditched our container mineral water suppliers and their cooler after several years and are back to the tap stuff. Did you know that in order to keep that 'pure, mineral water' from going off, they have a preservative agent in it? I make it a point to drink tap water where possible, especially as most bottled water in the UK currently costs more than petrol on a litre for litre basis. I agree.
