Crazy Shit on September 26 2008 at 4:22 PM
Biral takes the edge off when you have quite a bit of stress, occasions like weddings, funerals, episodes of CSI:Miami. A mild tranquilizer, with the benefits of still being able to stand upright and think straight.

Funny how the producer’s name sounds awfully similar to madhouse. Maybe they’re stronger than what people think.
And no, they’re not mine.

But good news is better news.

South Africa – The Good News, sponsored by FNB, is a website dedicated to bringing you all the latest, local, good news. I’m guessing they won’t be posting as many posts as some of the other news sites, as people tend to be hooked towards bad news more than good, but it’s awesome to see some people bringing you the positive stuff.
The site also offers some Fast Facts and Quick Stats about South Africa, all, as you can imagine, positive.

At last, we managed to get my 16g white 3G iPhone unlocked and running on MTN. Yaay. I had to use a sim liner from any-network and it really did work as well as they said.

Just remember, I didn’t do it ‘cos I love Apple, I did it to spite ‘em…!
Update: Battery dies at around 16h00, and reception is dismal. Now the unlocker is giving up the ghost and 3G ain’t working – back to 1st gen for now

Spotted this at Fourways Mall last week.

My thoughts:
1. It’s just a big fat coincidence that a Land Rover Defender, known for tackling rough terrain, is parked next to (almost above) a mini sand mountain.
2. If that is the case, they should’ve used a lot more sand to get the message across.

Shame, I didn’t have the heart to tell this guy that he was driving a Corsa.

I overtook him 30-seconds later on principle…!

So I just got back from watching Jerusalema at Ster Kinekor in The Zone. Fuck me, what a film. The story was great, the acting was inspired, and the production is as good as anything you’ve seen.
I feel as a South African I should be talking about what an important film this is, and that we should all see it to understand what happens just a few kilometers from where we live – but bolloks to that. Sure it’s an eye-opener, but that’s not why you should watch it. You should watch it because it’s simply an epic film and a really great way to spend a few hours (the Isuzu Bakkie scene will have you in fits).
You’ll leave proud that it was made here, and yeah, a wee bit freaked out too…!
