Right, so, I’ve never been the biggest lover of rainy days. People always think I’m crazy, saying things like “But you can snuggle up on the couch with some popcorn and a movie” or “It’s the best weather to have sex”.
Now, I totally understand those points.
But…
When last have you snuggled up to a movie when it’s raining? How often do you shag when it’s raining? These things are ONLY possible on the weekend, and if you don’t have other things to sort out on the weekend you must have a pretty easy (read: boring) life. I always have things to do on the weekend. Shopping. Socialising. Gym. Work. The occasional extreme sport. I don’t have time to do nothing, which is my fault, perhaps, but this is what I choose. Apart from helping things grow, the rain sucks. Why?
1. People drive terribly…
2. …causing more accidents
3. It erodes the road I live in
4. It messes with my hair
5. It hides the sun
6. It makes everything wet and slippery
7. Thousands of people have to wash their cars the following day
8. It makes dogs smelly
9. You can’t go for a walk in the park, or on the beach
10. It makes emo kids happy. Which defeats the point of being emo.
There are probably more reasons, but at this point I think these will suffice. Go away rain, I want hot sun and plenty of it. Ta.

Look…I like the rain. I have one of the biggest private umbrella collections in JHB as far as I know. But this is getting a bit ridiculous. Feels like the two months of solid no stop rain I had in CT for winter last year.

I have to agree with you as well, but there is the up side the watching movies under a blanket which is exactly what I did yesterday as I was off sick and able to do just that and didn’t have to deal with the idiots on the wet roads and traffic

The total waste of cleavage mentioned by justBcoz – makes sense, but the issue is the fact that now days the prevalence of man boobs, I am all for the freaking rain. Needing to qualify that though – rain at night would be nicer. And bleach in the eyes on Man boob hot days.

I love the rain!!! Its Awesome especially thunder!!! I Mostly like the hard rain and the sound it makes when it hits the roof of a tin shed or house! And i Love looking at it while in a warm house! ALSO I LOVE RUNNING OUT IN THEE RAIN!!! AND JUMPING ON THE TRAMPOLINE!!! But not really singing. lol

Gran Turismo 5 I race in Circuit De La Sarthe,
Monza, Suzuka Circuit, High Speed Ring,
Nurburgring (Well I hate that race track)
and Special Stage Route 7! It’s makes me want to

I hate rain! Im sure it’s not just particular to Louisiana, but no one down here can drive in the rain. NO ONE. It’s “oh let me go faster because I can’t see shit.” Louisiana summers are nothing but rain, and I’m over it. My husband works outdoors and if it rains, he can’t work. IE: No pay. On a bad rainy day in LA, my 25 minute commute can last anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half.

How can you hate rain? Its so important, it grows our food, replenishes water, and without it we would all die. Yes maybe it does make you cold wet and miserable but thats still better than dying of thirst in the baking heat. So you rain haters need to learn that rain is actually a good and an essential thing, and i love rain

I hate rains in India….the traffic snarl-ups….the condition of roads is pathetic…then there r moron drivers who like to splash mud water on others…clothes stink…i hate getting drenched…..roads r slippery….der’s water logging on roads….u cannot plan anything in advance coz u never know when it will start raining…..den der r ppl on roads who act irrationally and dey deliberately get drenched in rain, which makes me upset….no matter how many rain coats u wear, you get drenched from head to toe (i wear three rain coats… n still get drenched)….i only hav two good jeans tht i lik n during rains dey are never dry enough…der’s no sun n it’s also cold….i hav to spend 10 hrs at office….n every1 at my workplace prefers to keep AC at 16 or 18…yucks…..hmmm…so this is how rain annoys me in India….may be in sum other part of dis planet it won’t annoy me much……don’t knw but i honestly hate rain…..it depreses me….i can’t live wid out the sun…..i lik bright sunny days…

The main reason I love rain, and find it totally integral to all life… It is the only useful method for watering large quantities of plants… which, by the way, are the same plants the you are eating, or that the animals you are eating, are eating – for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, if you can do without eating, you can do without rain!
