So World Cup winning coach Jake White has launched both a blog and a Youtube channel.

Both are participative and Jake is encouraging people to take part on the conversation.

What confuses me at the moment is exactly why this is news. If Jake was running coaching sessions on the channel, rad. Perhaps all that is coming though. For now it’s just videos about Jake.

Wait, here’s comes the man…

“I think I can add value from a coaching point of view, I’d like school coaches to send me their drill vids, I’ll review them, and distribute the best ones back to everyone.”

That’s pretty bitchin’

However if it was me, I would have launched with some of that, right now it’s pretty arb, however, I’m hopeful…

The “not the worlds largest pillow fight” show

I was listening to the mid-day report the other day, and heard about a group of Wits students trying to make the Guinness Book of Records by staging the worlds largest pillow fight.

They failed.

By half.

Apparently just 800 pillow-wielding warriors arrived for the showdown, the record is 2000. I hope they try again, we’ll lend a pillow or 17.

Alternatively, there’s always this party…!

A huge loss for South African cricket

Two-thirds of the Wanderers cricket stadium clubhouse was destroyed on Wednesday night after a fire broke out.

Not only does it suck because of the money that needs to be spent to rebuild it, it’s especially crap because of all damage to memorabilia and cool shit collected over the years.

I hate you because you ruined my evening. Not two seconds before turning off the TV did I hear, for the fifth time tonight, Right Said Fred, telling us what they are…in your name. I thus spent my late night visit to the crapper, a normally joyous occasion, unable to concentrate on my magazine, singing happily in my head the first few bars to “We are, we are, we are, we are, we are.” . Fuck you! Fuck you, you fucking fuck fucks.
